What We Belive

The Bible
The Scriptures Inspired

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).
The One True God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I Am,” and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, by simultaneously existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Duet. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isa. 43:10,11; Matt. 28:19).
Salvation
The Grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by grace, has become heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Rom. 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).
Baptism
The ordinance of baptism by burial with Christ should be observed (as commanded in the Scriptures) by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed on Christ as their Savior and Lord. In doing so, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they have also been released to walk with Him in newness of life. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4).
Communion
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing in a memorial to His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined to all believers “until He comes.” (John 6:48, 51, 53-57; Luke 22:19-20; 2 Pet. 1:4; 1 Cor. 11:25).
Tithing
Tithing is the giving of one-tenth of one’s personal income to support the work of God. We believe tithing is a recognition that everything we have comes from God. The practice of tithing predates the giving of the Old Testament law and today’s church still relies on the support of tithers. Malachi 3:10.

The Robinson's

To experience the ministry of Pastor Robinson is an experience of revival fire, impartation, impact and edification.

Among many things, he is anointed to evoke the presence of God, and empower the people of God through his revelatory preaching and teaching bringing insight to the lives of all he comes across.

Pastor B.L. Robinson Jr. and his wife, First Lady Amber Robinson have been married for 16 years and are the proud parents of four amazing children: NyAsia, Ethan, Dylan and Kylei.

Our Leaders

Pastor Bruce

Pastor Bruce L. Robinson, Jr., was born and raised in Columbia, SC.

Pastor Robinson accepted his call to the ministry in 2015 and was licensed to preach March 1, 2015, under his parents, Bishop Bruce L. Robinson, Sr. and Elder Sandra M. Robinson. Pastor Robinson was appointed as Assistant Pastor of New Hope Outreach Ministries in August of 2017. On January 20, 2020, Pastor Robinson was installed as the Senior Pastor of New Hope Outreach Ministries; now known as City of Hope – Columbia.

Pastor Robinson’s ministry has reached various churches, revivals, and conferences; crossing denominational barriers. Operating out of the Prophetic, and the ministry of music, he has reached and touched the lives of thousands of people including youth, teenagers, young adults and adults.

Lady Amber

Lady Amber Robinson resides in Columbia, South Carolina. She has earned a B.S. in Biology and a MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management. Her mission is to encourage and empower women to live healthy and balanced lives physically, emotionally and spiritually. Lady Amber continues to live this out daily in her roles as wife, mother, boss and leader of #TheCity’s women’s ministry. She is excited about God’s plans for her future as she continues to serve with grace and excellence in whatever He calls her to!
